Zinda Park
Narayanganj · 23.86554, 90.51872
About
Zinda Park in Daudpur, Rupganj, Narayanganj, combines greenery, water features and architecture for a daytime outing. The community initiative associated with Agropathik Palli Samity also identifies education and culture as part of its purpose. Explore the walking areas and building design without treating the park as a wildlife safari or assuming amusement rides are operating.
How to reach
From Dhaka, approach via Kuril and the Purbachal Expressway towards Kanchan. Arrange the final local connection to Zinda Park from the bypass junction before Kanchan Bridge. Confirm the current drop-off point, fare and return arrangement. Show the Daudpur, Rupganj park pin; the main-road stop is not the visitor gate.
Best time
November–February is a weather-based suggestion for cooler, drier outdoor walking. In summer, prefer morning or late afternoon to midday. In the monsoon, prepare for rain and slippery paths. The park website says it closes on Eid day; confirm other visiting hours before travelling too.
Where to stay
This can be arranged as a day outing. If you need accommodation, plan your return to your Dhaka lodging. Do not assume tourist rooms are available inside the park.
Food
The park website prohibits bringing food inside. Call ahead about current dining, children’s food or special dietary arrangements. If eating after leaving, fit the meal stop around your return journey.
Travel carefully
The park website checked on 10 October 2026 lists admission at BDT 150 per person and BDT 50 for children under five; verify age conditions and the final price at the counter. Its published contact is 01716260908. Ask about separate photography and filming rules and charges. The licensed 2021 photograph shows the earlier entrance.
