MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Your visit to Madhupur National Park
From Tangail town, follow the Mymensingh-bound road through Madhupur to the park gate near Rasulpur Mazar. From Dhaka, confirm current Madhupur departures and the drop-off point at Mohakhali. For Dokhola, separately confirm the permitted forest-road connection from Jalchhatra/25 Mile. The map pin indicates the Rasulpur forest-office area; report at the gate for visitor access.
Start at the Rasulpur gate or forest office and ask which visitor paths are currently open. Choose a short sal-forest walk suited to your group and return by the agreed route. For Dokhola or Lahoria, confirm the route, access and return time with staff and arrange separate transfers. Do not assume a tower or animal centre described in an older guide remains open.
For a day visit, arrange a vehicle back to Madhupur. A stay at Dokhola forest rest house or Forest Department cottages requires current permission and a confirmed booking from the responsible forest office. Do not plan an unapproved overnight stay.
Return from the Madhupur National Park entrance to your confirmed station or bus boarding point. Leave a buffer before the departure printed on your ticket.
Use these destination details to build your schedule. Your selected days set the budget; they do not imply a verified multi-day itinerary.
Madhupur National Park in Tangail’s Madhupur Upazila offers an introduction to the sal forests of the red-soil Madhupur tract. Rasulpur and Dokhola are familiar access areas associated with visits to the forest. Tree-lined paths and forest sounds are the main experience; wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Nearby Garo and Koch settlements are living communities, so obtain consent before visiting homes or private land.

Travel with care
