Guliakhali Sea Beach

About

Guliakhali, also called Muradpur Beach, is a grassy tidal shore in Sitakunda, Chattogram. Small channels cut through the green ground beside mangrove vegetation, creating a landscape quite different from a broad sandy bathing beach. Visit to observe the shore and changing light; do not treat the channels or sea as a swimming area.

How to reach

Approach from Sitakunda bazaar towards Muradpur/Guliakhali and confirm the final vehicle drop-off locally. The pin identifies a photographed shore point, not a guaranteed vehicle entrance. Arrange the return before walking out onto the grass.

Best time

Check the tide, weather and local instructions for your visit. Rising water can fill the channels and cut off a walking route; leave before that happens. Avoid stormy conditions and obey red flags and warning signs.
